“The Ravens Are Coming” – I hear THE LORD say
Based on 1 Kings 17
The LORD had called me home on January 2026 to my home country and tribal land to exceute a 5 weeks Prophetic Deliverance assignment. The Assgnment strated in 2023 and was conlcuding in 2026. This was a difficult assignment where my bloodline family was going through a season of breaking generational curses, altars and covenants. It was in the midst of this divine assignment that THE LORD gave me this Word – ” The RAVENS are Coming.” I prayed into this Rhema Word and this is the Prophetic Revelation I recieved from the Spirit of the LORD. .
There are seasons when God does not send applause. He sends ravens.
In 1 Kings 17, the land was dry. The skies were shut. Ahab ruled, Jezebel manipulated, and Baal worship polluted the nation. Elijah stood alone with a Word from God—and after the prophecy of drought, God did not send him to a palace, a pulpit, or a crowd.
God sent him to a brook.
And He sent ravens.
“You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” (1 Kings 17:4)
This is not a gentle story.
This is a confrontational prophetic pattern.
Ravens Are Unlikely Providers
Ravens were considered unclean.
They were not generous birds.
They were not trained couriers of blessing.
Yet God bypassed the expected channels and used what culture would reject.
This is a word for Papua New Guinea.
God is not limited to traditional systems, religious approval, or economic structures. When nations enter seasons of dryness, delay, or disruption, God releases provision from unexpected directions.
The ravens carried bread and meat—morning and evening. Not abundance. Not overflow. Daily obedience provision.
Enough to survive.
Enough to stay positioned.
Enough to wait for the next instruction.
The Brook Must Be Obeyed
The ravens only came to the brook.
Not to Elijah’s preference.
Not to his comfort.
Not to public platforms.
If Elijah had moved early, he would have starved.
If he had disobeyed quietly, the miracle would have missed him.
Many in this season are asking God for provision, but resisting the location of obedience.
The ravens are already commanded—
but they are assigned to a place.
When the Brook Dries, the Season Shifts
The brook eventually dried up.
This was not failure.
This was transition.
God never intended the ravens to be permanent. They were seasonal provision, not lifelong dependency. When the water dried, God released a new instruction—Zarephath.
Ravens feed you in isolation.
Widows partner with you in rebuilding.
One season keeps you alive.
The next teaches you multiplication.
A Prophetic Word for PNG Vision 4040
Papua New Guinea is in a moment where old brooks are drying. Systems once trusted no longer flow. Familiar supports are weakening.
But hear this clearly:
The ravens are coming.
Provision will come from unlikely alliances.
Solutions will arise outside traditional power centers.
Resources will appear where logic says they should not.
This is not the season to panic.
This is the season to stay where God placed you and discern the next instruction.
The ravens do not announce themselves.
They arrive quietly, carrying what heaven already commanded.
Final Prophetic Charge
If you are at the brook—stay.
If the brook is drying—listen.
If ravens are feeding you—do not despise the method.
God is sustaining His prophets, His remnant, and His vision carriers until the next phase unfolds.
The ravens are not random.
They are prophetic provision on assignment.
And yes—
they are coming.
