Overturning  and Overthrowing the Trading Tables of Death

Yesterday, I received a powerful word from the Lord: “Overturn and overthrow the trading tables of death.” As I meditated on this phrase, He led me to 1 Corinthians 15:26, which says:

“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” (KJV)

This verse reminded me that Satan’s kingdom operates through three arms of his defeated government: to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The enemy’s strategy is to attack our consciousness, slowly infiltrating our minds and weakening our spiritual defenses.

The Enemy’s Tactics

Satan’s attacks begin in the spiritual realm, targeting our subconscious mind (spirit). If we’re unaware of his tactics, he can gain access to our conscious mind (soul), killing our dreams, hopes, and purposes. Ultimately, this affects our physical bodies and unconscious minds, preventing us from fulfilling our God-given destinies.

The Resurrection Power of Jesus

But we have hope! Jesus Christ has overcome death and given us resurrection power to defeat this last enemy standing. As Isaiah 25:8 says:

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.” (KJV)

Isaiah 28:18 also reminds us that our covenant with death will be annulled:”And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.” (KJV)

In John 11:25-26, Jesus declares:“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (KJV)

A Call to Action

Today, we’re called to overturn and overthrow the trading tables of death. We must recognize the enemy’s tactics and refuse to give him access to our minds. Instead, let’s use our resurrection power to declare life, hope, and victory.

“I overturn and overthrow the trading tables of death. I refuse to give the enemy access to my mind. I declare life, hope, and victory in Jesus’ name.”
